Why do we call it a “casket lid”? Because our super innocent engineer said, “do you mean that casket lid looking thingy?” and the name stuck. Now you too can get that super-high speed, low-drag, magazine drop!

This product is ONLY compatible with the CROM PCC Chassis system, and  is installed on the existing extended release bar. The addition of the casket lid increases the amount of surface area for quicker manipulation. Shave precious microseconds from your reload speed with the addition of the casket lid.

All CROM PCC chassis’ made post August 2020 will be compatible with the casket lid. Those with pre-August 2020 chassis’ will receive a free jig that will guide the modifications to their extended magazine release bar. Modifications will be just two simple #8 holes drilled through the original magazine release bar. For those too squeamish to do the work on their own, new magazine release bars are still available to be purchased separately. All CROM Casket Lids come with the required mounting hardware for easy installation.
